  • Step 1: Find an article in a newspaper, in a magazine, or online about an event related to a topic in Earth Science.


  • Step 2: Write a summary or reaction to the article (at least 10 sentences) making sure the connection to Earth Science is explained.



  • Step 3: Present your summary to the class. The clarity of your explanation will determine the amount of extra points that will be added to your test grade. The highest amount added will be 15 points.

Week of Jan. 30- Feb. 3



  • Monday, January 30- School Spirit Day. Students can wear free dress as long as they wear the school colors, yellow and blue.

Thursday is also the Winter Concert at 7pm in the auditorium. Students are to wear a dark bottom and white top. No jeans or shorts.
