Week of Nov. 16-20

  • This week the students will be working on their ecosystem dioramas. There are five groups:  1.) Desert: Paco, Melissa, Diana 2.) Grasslands: Leilany, Adrian, Yelitza 3.) Tundra: Phoebe, Sarah, Eddie  4.) Forest: Alyssa, Justin, Daisy 5.) Tropical Rain Forest: Danny, Darya, Ivette.  Each group assigned a person to bring a shoebox on Monday. The group also discussed additional things they might need to bring from home (such as cotton balls, sand, leaves, etc.)  I will be providing paint, construction paper, and modeling clay. Later each student will be writing their own report about their ecosystem. I will provide the rubric soon.   
  • There will be noon dismissal on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week for Parent Teacher conferences. Please be on time since conferences usually run back to back and they are only 15 min. each. I look forward to seeing you!
  • Saint Anne School is collecting travel size toiletries (mouthwash, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, etc.) and socks for the homeless.
