- Friday, February 28- Final Friday $1 Dress Day. California Mission Project and Report Due. Students must be at school on time. They should come prepared to share their mission in an oral class presentation. This will be counted as a Social Studies test grade.
Class Presentation:
- As an “expert” on your mission, you will share your findings and research with the class. You can think of this presentation as if you were telling a story.
- Practice your presentation at home so that you can memorize it. Note cards may be used to help you in your presentation but good eye contact with your audience is very important. You may not read from your report.
- Your presentation should include the interesting parts of your mission’s history and what makes it unique. Ideas include: natural disasters, fires, battles, religious experiences, etc.
