The school practiced lockdown drills today. Students know what to do when they hear the announcement for lockdown. Some students were nervous about a possible lockdown. I did reassure them and explained the importance of practicing safe procedures in a situation where there is an intruder on school campus. Please continue this discussion at home with your child.
